Warps & Teleport

Warps save locations you need to get back to. Use them for sets, arenas or places the cast needs to move between, then control who can use each one.

Warps (/warp)

commands
/warp # the warp list
/warp <name> # go there
/warp set <name> # make one where you're standing
/warp delete <name>
/warp setperm <name> <op|everyone|custom>

/warps and /warp list open the list too. /warp create is set, /warp del and /warp remove are delete.

Warps are saved in warps/warps.json.

The list

/warp opens a dialog with every warp you're allowed to use as a button. Click one, you're there. Cooldowns and permissions still apply, it just runs the warp for you.

If you can manage warps, clicking one opens a small menu instead: Teleport, Set Permission, Delete. Warps in a world that isn't loaded show greyed out.

The list uses Paper's dialog API when available, with a clickable chat list as the server-side fallback. Don't assume an older client will automatically get a different menu.

Who can use a warp

Value Who
op Ops
everyone Anyone
custom Players with the permission required by that warp

scriptedessentials.warp.others allows targeting other players with /warp <name> <player>.

Config

yaml
warp:
  enabled: true
  cross-world: true
  max-warps-per-player: 100
  cooldown: 0
  teleport:
    teleport-to-highest-block: true
Option What it does
cross-world false keeps people in the world they're in
max-warps-per-player How many one player can make
cooldown Seconds between warps, 0 for none
teleport-to-highest-block Puts them on the surface, not inside the terrain

Importing warps

commands
/warpsconvert

Pulls warps from EssentialsX. Runs on the first start unless:

yaml
warp:
  auto-convert-from-other-plugins: false

World teleport (/worldtp)

commands
/worldtp <world>

Sends you to a world's spawn. Tab-completes with the worlds you have loaded.

Top (/top)

commands
/top

Highest block above you. Gets you out of a cave.

Offline teleport (/otp)

commands
/otp <player>

Aliases /offlinetp, /offlineteleport. Takes you to where a player last was, online or not.

Custom spawn (/setspawn, /spawn)

commands
/setspawn # set it where you're standing
/spawn # go there
/delspawn # clear it

/clearspawn and /removespawn also clear it.

/spawn starts as Everyone. /setspawn and /delspawn use the customspawn feature, which starts as Op Only.

It overrides the world spawn

Once set, respawns and /spawn use it instead of the world spawn point. /delspawn hands control back to vanilla.
