Villager trade editor
Premium
This is part of ScriptedEssentials Premium. See what's in each edition.
Use the villager editor to set up a trader for a scene without replacing it. You can change its settings and build custom trades from items in your inventory.
Opening the editor
/villagereditorThe alias is /veditor. Run it, then right-click a villager to open its editor. Run it again when you're finished to turn edit mode off.
This requires scriptedessentials.admin.
Custom trades
- Open Custom Trades in the villager's editor.
- Left-click a trade to edit it, or choose + Add New Trade.
- Put the required item in the first ingredient slot and the item the player receives in the result slot. The second ingredient is optional.
- Set the maximum uses and XP options, then click Save Trade.
Changes to a custom trade aren't applied just by moving items into the editor. Use Save Trade before leaving it.
Uses and XP
Max Uses controls how many times the trade can be used. One-time trade sets that to one. Villager XP and Player XP Reward are separate options.
Removing or resetting trades
Right-clicking a trade in the trade list deletes it. Reset Trades in the main editor re-rolls the list for the villager's current profession.
Check before resetting
Deleting or re-rolling trades changes that villager's actual trade list. Don't use Reset Trades if you want to keep custom trades you've just made.
