Clearing entities

Use /killall to remove unwanted entities, or /autoclear when you deliberately want to clear player inventories on a timer. These don't do the same job.

Kill all (/killall)

commands
/killall <type> [radius:<number>]
Type Removes
mobs All mobs
hostile Hostile mobs
passive Living entities not classed as hostile, excluding players and armour stands
animals Animals, water mobs and ambient mobs
dogs or wolves Wolves, including orbital dogs
items Dropped items
arrows Projectiles, not just arrows
xp XP orbs
all All non-player entities except the plugin-protected ones
An entity type Just that type, like ZOMBIE

Add radius:50 to limit it to an area around you. The check uses a box extending that far on each axis. Without a positive radius it covers your loaded world's entities; from console it checks all loaded worlds.

commands
/killall items radius:30 # dropped junk around you
/killall hostile # every hostile mob in the world
/killall dogs # the whole pack after a dog strike
/killall CREEPER radius:100 # just creepers, nearby

Players are skipped, as are entities marked with ScriptedEssentials data. Orbital wolves are an intentional exception and can be removed. all can also remove ordinary armour stands and decorative entities, so don't use it as a shortcut for dropped items.

Auto clear (/autoclear)

commands
/autoclear <on|off>

Clears online non-op inventories and ender chests every 60 seconds while it's on. Inventory rollback snapshots don't include the ender chest, so save that separately if you need it back.

No undo

Auto clear doesn't take a backup before each sweep. /inventoryrollback only helps if a suitable snapshot already exists. Save one first and turn auto clear off when you're finished.

/autoclear on its own tells you whether it's on.

Getting items back

Inventory rollback has snapshots from join, leave and death.
