Integrations

ScriptedEssentials can work with a few other plugins for editing, voice chat and importing data. Only install the ones you need.

WorldEdit and FastAsyncWorldEdit

Premium

Logging edits for /chunkrestore is part of ScriptedEssentials Premium. See what's in each edition.

When the integration is active, supported editing commands can be captured in the block log used by /chunkrestore. Keep chunk-tools.enabled on before making the edits.

This isn't a complete WorldEdit history. The integration snapshots an area before supported commands and compares it afterwards. Selections are limited to 500,000 blocks; some operations use an area around the player instead. Large or slow asynchronous edits can fall outside what gets recorded.

Use a saved area or world backup for work you can't afford to lose. See Chunk tools for restoration commands and their side effects.

Axiom

Premium

Same as above, this feeds /chunkrestore, which is Premium only.

There is an Axiom hook, but whether it works depends on the installed plugin name and the events that version exposes. It checks for plugins named AxiomPaper or Axiom and specific edit events; the presence of a similarly named plugin alone doesn't prove edits are being captured.

Test a small edit and restore on a disposable area before relying on it. The hook compares a limited area around the edit, not every block changed anywhere in the world.

Keep a separate backup

The current rollback log is database/chunk_restore.db. It can grow on a busy server, and it only contains changes that were recorded successfully.

Simple Voice Chat

Premium

Voice chat tools are part of ScriptedEssentials Premium. See what's in each edition.

Turns these on:

Command What it does
/vc <mute|unmute|allowspeak|broadcast|join> One command for everything below
/vcmute <mute|unmute|allowspeak> Manage the non-op voice mute and allowed speakers
/vcmute allowspeak <add|remove|list> [player] Who can talk anyway
/vcbroadcast [player] That player's voice reaches everyone, whatever the distance or group
/vcjoin <player> <group> Force someone into a group
/vcjoin create <name> [password] Make a group
/vcjoin leave <player> Pull someone out

Voice chat names follow nicknames, so a nicked player shows their nickname in the overlay.

These features need the Simple Voice Chat server plugin and a working voice connection. /vcjoin is registered when voicechat is present. A mute setting on its own can't control voice without the integration.

World managers

NPCs can wait for worlds that load after the plugin starts. NPCs in those worlds are held back and spawned once the world loads, so they don't vanish after a restart.

Kit and warp converters

Run on the first start, or with /kitsconvert and /warpsconvert.

Plugin Brings over
EssentialsX Kits and warps
PlayerKits2 Kits
Observer Kits

The old plugin's folder needs to still be in plugins/. Logged to logs/kit_conversions.log and logs/conversion.log. Turning it off is on Installation.

Permissions plugins

Permission nodes can be granted through your permissions plugin, but some commands have an additional admin check. See Permissions.

Citizens

If Citizens or anything else also uses /npc, this plugin takes it. /npc, /minecraft:npc, /citizens:npc and /scriptedessentialsapi:npc all land here.

Doesn't work with

NickAPI

The plugin won't start with NickAPI installed. Both change how names and skins get sent out and they fight. The console tells you to remove it and the plugin switches itself off.
